Tuesday, 17th November 2020 at 10:30-11:30 CET – Effective learning and teaching with interactive 3D visualizations and video-based macroscopic anatomy
In this Ovid Online Seminar we shall present the 3D Human Anatomy Atlas from Visible Body and Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy. The comprehensive app or web based 3D Atlas from Visible Body provides insights into the human body. It includes over 5,000 interactive, medically accurate male and female anatomical structures – developed by medically trained illustrators and vetted by leading anatomists. Visible Body’s 3D Atlas covers systemic and regional anatomy, senses, muscle action and 25 cross-sections. The content can be used online and offline. This enables users to research anatomy innovatively and interactively also from home. Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy contains almost 330 3D rotational gross anatomy videos, featuring real cadaver specimens in their natural colour. It offers online access to realistic video-based anatomy, for preparation and review, or when an onsite lab environment is not available. Any difficulties with accessing dissection courses and facilities can be compensated for with Acland’s Video Atlas. Immerse yourself in the human anatomy with us. We are looking forward to your participation.
