- Łódź Fabryczna station (The largest and most modern railway station, which has been newly opened after a thorough renovation and is located in the New Centre of Lodz. This station is the closest to the conference main venue.)

Since December 2019 a new direct railway connection has been operating between Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina station (Warsaw Chopin Airport) and Łódź Fabryczna station – it takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. The current timetable is available here.

Lodz is located at the intersection of the A1 motorway, leading from the north to the south of Poland, and the A2 motorway, leading from the west to the east through Poznań and Warsaw. It’s connected with Wrocław by the S8 road. Such a developed road network makes the city accessible for car communication. The estimated time of a car trip from Warsaw is about 1.5 hours, from Gdańsk – about 3 hours, from Kraków (Cracow) – about 3.5 hours, and from Wrocław – just over 2 hours.
Lodz provides very efficient car rental service. You can find the right car at the right price. You can choose a passenger car, a vehicle with an LPG system, a van as well as a car with a driver – also an English-speaking one. There are at least a dozen of Polish companies and branches of international car hire companies that offer a short-, medium- and long-term car hire in Lodz.
